A Bit About Me

Imagine transforming what is challenging you into the strength, trust and power possible to be able to navigate anything that crosses your path. We all can have moments on our life journey when we feel in the dark. Trauma, grief, identity questions can be transitions that would be helpful to traverse with the support of someone we trust.

I strive to meet you where you are and utilize an eclectic and trauma-informed approach. My hope is that you feel you can bring your full self to the therapy space. Wonder, curiosity, warmth and a non-judgmental approach inform the therapeutic work that I do. Together we can explore the patterns, systems, and beliefs at play in your life and bring awareness as a form of power to make choices about how you would like to move forward in your life.

It is possible to feel supported, rooted, and authentic in your body, relationships and life. My goal is that you feel trust with yourself to navigate life in a healing way that is unique to you. I believe my clients have the ability to meet whatever they are faced with, sometimes it can be helpful to have someone else help us uncover or bring awareness to things that were in our blindspots.

Experience:

Kelsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. She graduated from Naropa University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal track. She has worked with individuals and couples on topics of life transitions, depression, anxiety, sex, sexuality, non-monogamy, and infidelity.

More than just my work:

Dancing, playing games with friends, adventure, tea, nature, jazz, reading and the ocean are some of my little/big joys in life. I identify as bisexual and part of the LGBTQ+ community and feel passionate about supporting the community.

I am certified to teach yoga and perform reiki which to me, add to my attunement to the nervous system and subtle energies at play. From a young age, I felt I was able to tap into a different, more quiet, invisible energy and believe that has helped me to be the type of clinician who can align to *small energies*.
