A Bit About Me

Have you been cultivating your own healing practice but finding you need some extra support in taking it deeper? Are you the go-to person for all of your friends' struggles and wish you could be held in the same way that you give? Do you find yourself in a totally new landscape, wondering what or if you have a solid identity anymore? Maybe you often find yourself feeling like the blacksheep, or on the outside looking in, wondering where you fit in. Or you tend to sense and feel others around you so strongly, you struggle to know who you really are outside of them.

I love working with adults, teens, children and couples who are highly sensitive and inquisitive. Topics I am very familiar with are boundary setting, speaking up for oneself, building self-esteem, recovering from religious trauma, deconstructing controlling dynamics, suicidal ideation, codependency and people pleasing, and family of origin struggles. My approach is somatic and nervous system oriented, making room for your body's actual felt experience. I enjoy incorporating “parts work”, expressive arts, movement, dream analysis, spirituality and humor as appropriate for each client's interests.

Experience:

Faith is currently in Masters level graduate studies for counseling at Adams State University, on track for LPC licensure. Over the last many years Faith has worked as an intuitive coach, serving clients from an IFS, “parts work” and mindfulness approach. Her somatic lens comes from Peter Levine’s, Somatic Experiencing training 2.5 year program (halfway through completion). Faith has undergone close to 500 hours of yoga study and enjoys integrating yoga philosophy with parts work as a frame of innate wholeness we can always return to.

More than just my work:

I love slowing down with nature and tea. Dance expression has been a big part of my healing journey, as well as theater and improv. I have a renewed intention to deepen my musical expression and song writing. My words for this year are Ease, Peace and Nourishment.
