Prelicensure

For those who have graduated from a Master’s or Doctorate counseling, psychology, or school psychology program we are happy to provide supervision in order to meet requirements needed to obtain your license (LPC or Licensed Psychologist). This is a paid opportunity with no cost for supervision.

  • 1 hour of free individual supervision per week with either licensed psychologist or licensed professional counselor (LPC)

  • 1 hour of free group supervision biweekly (depending on other interns/pre-licensed professionals working with us)

  • Opportunity to continue working with the practice once fully licensed

Who We are looking for

Someone who

  • Is motivated to learn and develop their individual and group counseling skills 

  • Values diversity

  • Feels comfortable working independently 

  • Has strong problem solving skills

  • Has strong communication skills

  • Is proficient with google workspace

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of at least 15-20 clients a week for individual counseling 

  • Open to working with kids, teens, and adults

  • Work with people around any of the following struggles:

    • Depression

    • Anxiety

    • Life/family/work stress

    • Postpartum Anxiety and Depression

    • Autism

    • ADHD

    • Trauma

    • Substance use recovery

    • Unhealthy relationships

  • Option to hold group counseling sessions

  • Opportunities for content creation in the form of blogs, social media, professional development/training, creating materials to be used with clients, etc. (this is pretty open and can vary based on what intern is interested in)
